Craving Dominiquin food? this is your spot. Restaurant is located off a main road with parking in the back. Seated quickly, the ambiance was dim lighting medium music volume. We requested a drink not part of the menu but the waitress made it happen. Now to the food. My favorite is Mofongo con chicharrón y camarones al ajio. It's so delicious, the shrimp is in a thick sauce base of garlic that combines so well with the mofongo. Just my personal favorite spot when craving mofongo. If you want to plan a summer outing, they have a patio with umbrellas and live music.

They must have been paying attention to the bad reviews because the food was AMAZING! My first time visiting having never been there since they moved in and it was AMAZING. Well, the drinks were highly lacking in pour measures and pricey at that, since they weren't good. My husband ordered the BISTEC SALTEADO (Sautéed Steak) and while it was not cooked to the medium temp requested, it was very tender and full of flavor. I ordered the PESCADO EN RUEDAS FRITO (fried red snapper in tomato sauce) and baby, it was huge and so so so good. We are definitely going back for the food. My fellow Caribbeans, you will be proud. I can't speak on other items, as my brother said their chicken can be dry, but the 2 dishes we purchased were top notch, with no exaggeration. Plantains were fried and fresh and their Pico is this sort of vinaigrette mixture, can't quite put my nose to it, but really good on everything. We will be back very soon, eager to try the oxtail, mofongo and goat stew buuuut I know I will most likely try the fish again. Our server was nice, not much of conversation had, but she was pleasant and attentive. And the ambiance is nice, but music us a bit too loud for an early dinner service. There were about 4 other dining tables, with a larger party, but it was a weeknight, I would imagine the weekend is lively.

I had the mofongo with yuca and Madurai in it with chicharron and it was really good! My buddy had the oxtail and stew goat with rice and bean and seemed to really enjoyed it as well! Definitely coming back! Service was as expected with small Dominican food spot! Prices were very reasonable with the portions of food you received!
